Our shelters are the spaces where we welcome, care for and restore dignity to the abandoned animals that arrive at the shelter. While they wait to be adopted, we try to make the spaces in a way that they can feel protected and loved.
Cal Pilé
The Cal Pilé shelter has been the protector’s reference shelter since the year 2000. It has a capacity for keeping 72 dogs and has a cattery to accommodate 100 domestic cats. From this shelter, thousands of animals have found a second chance.

CAAC del Barcelonès
The CAAC of Barcelonès is the centre of collection for the municipality of Badalona, although, by agreement it also collects and welcomes abandoned and lost animals from areas of Sant Adrià del Besòs,and Santa Coloma de Gramenet. It is a shelter which is managed by a public tender and is managed by Daina foundation which is the foundation of the protectors society, since the year 2018. This shelter only collect and accommodates dogs, it has the capacity to hold 120 animals.

CAAC de Cabrils
The CAAC cabrils is a shelter which has the capacity to keep 40 dogs and 30 cats. It is also a shelter that depends on public tender and is managed by Daina foundation, the foundation of the protectors society, since the year 2020.
