Well-being in the shelters
Our main task is to welcome them and cover their needs, both physical and emotional, until a new family for them is found.
We are well aware that an animal shelter can never be a home, but as long as there are so many cases of abandonment, a shelter is the only space we have to protect them. From the shelter, we do everything we possibly can to make their stay as pleasant as possible.
We ensure that the facilities are in adequate sanitary conditions for the health of all the animals that we take in: the well-being begins with the animal’s physical health.
The enrichment of the different spaces together with spending time together with the animals through playtime and walks are our main tools which we have in our possession in order to fight the boredom, sadness and fears of the animals in the shelter. The emotional well-being of the animals who stay with us is essential in order to avoid suffering so that they could be in their best state for adoption.
