Each one of the dogs and cats that are abandoned always brings us mixed feelings: on the one hand the sadness of seeing that the abandonment does not stop and, on the other hand, the renewed strength to look for a new family for them that will give them back their joy and will to live.

But some cases really break our hearts. This last month we have had to face two terrible cases.

On the one hand the rescue of 7 cats in an apartment with Diogenes Syndrome, where the man was found dead. Now we have with us, in the Cal Pilé shelter in Mataró, 7 cats, dead of fear. We hope that, little by little, they will recover and, above all, that generous families will appear who want to give them a new opportunity.

On the other hand, the case of Mamba, a 10 year old bully who has been retired due to mistreatment. She has come to us in the bones, poor thing. Now we have to do everything we can for her to recover and, most importantly, to find her a family that really loves her.
